Summary/Abstract: One of the well-known Romanian folksong collectioner, the Romanian-Saxon Friedrich Wilhelm Schuster was also an important translator. The present article tries to see to what extend this scholar succeeded in illustrating not only the Romanian folksong but also the Romanian feeling.
