Summary/Abstract: Chekov and Levitan. Points of Convergence in Their Life and Work. Anton Pavlovici Chekov’s life and work are closely related to the names of several representatives of the Russian culture, but one can clearly notice Chekov’s particular affinity to Levitan, the remarkable landscape painter of the time. In this article we make an attempt to show that the relationship of the two artists is reflected in their works, enriching thus both the Russian literature and painting. Chekov and Levitan.
