Summary/Abstract: Will the fragile economic recovery of Romania be hurt by the global recession? Has the new government started on the wrong foot with the management of economic problems? Will the newly recovered political trust endure throughout the year? Is the danger of political extremism over and the period of social peace a lasting one? These are a few questions this report is trying to answer.
