Summary/Abstract: Processing some concrete statistical data about the children born alive and the number of women classified by age groups (each group comprises 5-year period) and by place of residence (data as a whole for the country, towns and villages, extracted from official publications of the National Statistical Institute), the generalised statistical parameters are calculated which characterise the distribution of fertility coefficients according to the ages of women who have been in labour. Using the fertility coefficients for 5-year-period age groups, corresponding coefficients for one-year-period age groups ar figured out by the interpoldtion method used by the famous English statistician and biologist K. Pearson. An attempt is made by means of the calculated coefficients to analyse the women fertility rates in Bulgaria during a 50-years period after The Second World War.
