Social State in the Process of Globalisation (on the Problematic of Social Security Systém)

Summary/Abstract: Analysis of the transformation of role and purpose of the welfare state, which finds itself (due to the globalizing trends of the beginning of the 21st century – the global economic crisis, the crisis of social solidarity) on a crossroads. Insurance and support in a welfare state system is an expression of the institutionalization of a human effort to explain complex situations by a simple mechanism. They’re the outcome of a long-time ambition to program the institutions of universal social security in order to make them capable of identifying different dimensions of social distress unequivocally and on the individual case basis.
