Summary/Abstract: The concept of social identity structure is suggested. It is common for all types of self-determination which are defined according to the sustainability parameter. The process of problem identity formation is analyzed in the context of transformational processes in mod-ern society. These processes determine the circumstances in which certain difficulties in in-dividual self-determination may appear. They have different level of influence on the sus-tainability of social identity of men and women
