Summary/Abstract: nterview with Valery Giscard D’Estaing – pesident of the Convention for European reform (From Le Monde 11 January 2001). The article offers details about the ample process of constitutional reform that takes place within the European Union. From the declaration of the president of the Convent founded on 15th of december 2001 at the Laeken Summit is to be understood that the “European constitution” mentioned in the “Memorandum” from Cluj (08 December 2001) is still not yet finished. This document will have a certain influence on the constitutions of the European countries and the philosophies that determine them.
