Summary/Abstract: The intention of this study is to find out whether Polish-German bilinguals associate differently from German and Polish monolinguals. The study is based on an association experiment with Polish bilinguals conducted in Hamburg from 2009. The results are compared with the German and Polish norms of word association. In the centre of my interest are those associations that accumulate or appear only in one of the groups.
