Summary/Abstract: The main interest of this text is the topic of the author/authorship, followed within several theoretical sonceptions: from those whish stand for author`s death (Roland Barthes), through conceptions that advocates for modifications of the concept (Michel Foucault) and finally, those that insist on author`s rehabilitation (Eric D. Hirsch, Nancy K. Miller). The second part of the text is focused on novelesque contextualization of the topic authorship (the interpretation of the novel Possession by Antonia S. Byatt).
