Summary/Abstract: The aim of this research is to present its own perusal of the songs of the first volume of “Veda Slovena”, published in 1874 in Belgrade. In the texts the attention is turned to those images of space which are marked with the presence of a town. The space itself and its shaping by means of urbanization are examined in connection with the described sudden changes in the climate which transform the life of earth-inhabitants drastic. The order of the basic events which are described in “Veda Slovena” is differed from that which Verkovich established by the arrangement of the songs. After the cosmic cataclysm the logical course of events is the following: 1. creating of environment for formation of beings that are able to continue life in the new conditions; 2. multiplying of the beings that are predestined to populate the earth again; 3. movement of the ancient earth-inhabitants who are not adaptable to the new conditions by conquest of earth; 4. victory of the new type of beings which reduced not only to populating the earth, but to its subjection to one power which establish the new civilization and which is handed down by lineal sign. In conclusion it may be generalized that “Veda Slovena” keeps memory about events with exceptional dramatism which refers to the fate of the whole earth as inhabitable space. The causes for these events which are with cosmic essence present in a new light the origin and the way of the humanity itself.
