Summary/Abstract: The assessment problem of the banks’ competition factor is considered in the article. Key figures demonstrating provision of the Central Federal District (with exception of Moscow and Moscow region) with banking accommodations are provided. A method instrumental in the assessment of the banks’ competition level and helpful in the promotion of optimal administrative decisions is offered.
