Summary/Abstract: Letter to the Editor: I studied all the contributions to the last issue of Slovak Foreign Policy Affairs (Spring 2001 vol. II, no. I,) with interest; it is to Pieter van Duin’s fine analysis of ethnic nationalism in Slovakia, however, to which I should like to respond. Perhaps it is worth beginning with a minor point on a major issue, namely the type of coexistence between the Slovak majority and Hungarian minority on which Slovakia will eventually settle.
