Summary/Abstract: This paper covers the theoretical and practical aspects of teaching foreign language on the basis of the dialogue of cultures. According to the principles of linguo-cultural approach one should get a general understanding of cultural values and its specificity for further successful cooperation in the multicultural and multinational environment. As effective methods of intercultural learning the author examines the comparative cultural analysis of phraseology of both native and target languages and application of “tandem method” for group interaction in the course of work at bilingual projects exploring both cultures.
