Summary/Abstract: The article is related to the specifics of personal finances and their place in the system of financial relations, as a consequence of the relationship between corporate, public and personal finances. Effectiveness of the decisions adopted in the field of personal finances is determined by the quality and volume of information that an individual possesses, and understanding of how to use it for optimal management of incoming and outgoing cash flows and risk reduction. The analysis of income and expenditure of individuals and their potential for increasing is made based on the macroeconomic characteristics of the environment.
