THE POSTSOCIALISTIC ANTICOMMUNISM

Summary/Abstract: This article concisely presents the main features of new anticommunism in Serbia and countries in its environment. Several points are discussed in more detail: normalised nationalism, anti-antifascism and antitotalitarianism. The article analyzes the role the national humanistic inteligentsia has played in the mass conversion from left to right, from Marxism to anticommunism. The intellectual dissident has been replaced by the «intellectual» convert who has changed and washed his autobiography and won for himself a new, socially acceptable identity.
