O POLSKICH SŁOWNIKACH ORTOGRAFICZNYCH Z PUNKTU WIDZENIA METALEKSYKOGRAFII
On Polish Orthographic Dictionaries - from Metalexicographic Point of View

Summary/Abstract: The paper is devoted to the analysis of technical aspects of lexicographic description of selected Polish orthographic dictionaries, published in the years 1996-2003. The following questions are taken into consideration: the authors of the dictionaries, the number of entries, arrangement of entries, the stock of words, microstructure of the dictionaries and inflectional information in lexical entries in particular. In conclusion, the author postulates systematic improvement of the dictionaries in the following editions in order to eliminate all gaps and mistakes.
