Summary/Abstract: This study deals with the electoral support of Swedish parliamentary parties in elections to the European Parliament. Four elections, which were realized between 1995 and 2009, are examined here. There are used statistics and comparative methods for explanation of electoral support. The method of the study is based on analysing the spatial variability of electoral results, time-space stability of voting patterns, and research of stability/instability of the territorial support, i.e. finding an area of electoral support, which shows the districts where the particular parties are successful in the long term. The geographical stability of vote distribution is being compared in 21 counties, as well as 290 municipalities.
