Summary/Abstract: This article aims to reconstruct the anthropological aspects of Tadeusz Kotarbiński's ideas on globalisation and to show the important role they play in his theory of unified humanity. It presents Kotarbiński's concepts regarding positive and negative impact of technological development on the process of unifying human society. The article discusses the cultural aspects of these changes and shows the important role of the concept of human nature, which underlies the ideas of globalisation in his philosophy. This article offers a critique of Kotarbiński and, with reference to the works of Henryk Elzenberg, reveals the problems that arise from his theory.
