Summary/Abstract: Once, in an interview with the painter Dorota Komar- Zmyoelony, the artist said, she would like to practice a „rather normal painting”, and then „the one we/are used to”. Somewhere else, she formulated the idea of an artist as more a disposer of appearing potentialities than their creator. “Normal” painting might be also the question of traditional materials as well as a relationship between the connoisseur requiring art and the artist needing money. Neverthless, it can’t be and it isn’t the question of vision or form. That definition seems to suit the artist’s idea. During many years of her artistic activity, the inner world of the artist’s painting has been constantly changing and growing. At first, there were still lives, empty courtyards, landscapes, then lots of faces growing out of and into the background, into each other, connected to each other. Also – sophisticated, psychedelic paradises, sticking, angel – like heads floating up to the sky, eteric bodies and lots of hairs and dog’s fur everywhere, dogish-human shapes, gaps and cracks. Particularly important part of her art are her drawings. They seem formally the best:simple and at the same time sophisticated, they explore the inner nature of matter. Division and form cracking seems to be the elementary motif of that art, as well as connecting, merging and creating twin figurations. The artist doesn’t search any cultural or philosophical contexts for her art. Painting her visions, she doesn’t declare anything but game and some kind of an exciting dialogue with that, what emerges.
