The Cemetery of the Roman Catholic Parish in Stawiszyn. A Historical and Prosopographical Study

Summary/Abstract: The main purpose of this article is to discuss the history of the Catholic cemetery in Stawiszyn and to present the figures of people who have made history in this small town. The first part briefly presents the history of the town, followed by a presentation of the fate of the church cemetery and the parish cemetery located on Kaliska Street, including an attempt to establish the date of establishment of the latter. The last part presents biographies of selected people who have made contributions to the local community.
