Summary/Abstract: The behavior of middle powers in international politics is a subject of study that requires a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of the international system as a whole. It has generally been studied through the lens of the behavior of individual middle powers, their political and diplomatic actions. However, middle powers have also found other forms of collaboration in global politics through partnership formulas and cooperation platforms, formal or informal. We will analyze here the case of MIKTA (Mexico, Indonesia, South Korea, Turkey, Australia), a group of middle powers, through which member states support and can mutually reinforce the status they hold in the current international system.
