Summary/Abstract: The paper presents Wiersz na powrót z Sejmu Warszawskiego Jaśnie Wielmożnego Ferdynanda Dąbrowy Ciechanowskiego … (Poem for the Return from the Warsaw Sejm of the Most Honourable Ferdynand Dabrowa Ciechanowski...), an unquoted in references example of informal commemorative political poetry of the Duchy of Warsaw era. Published in the form of an ephemeral print, probably in Lublin in 1812, it was discovered in the collection of Hieronim Lopacinski Provincial Public Library. The poem, written in the high rhetorical, panegyric and laudatory style is a document of primarily historical value which depicts an important moment in the political (the Second Sejm of the Duchy) and religious (Uniates) life of the era.
