Summary/Abstract: According to ethnological research at the beginning of the 21st century, relics of magical-power healing processes, using traditional techniques, persist in the studied Rusyn regions of North-Eastern Slovakia. The use of magic has been used in the community with the aim of bringing one back to their health, removing the effects of the so-called ‘evil eye’, etc.
