Summary/Abstract: Characterizing the role and place of sexuality in the everyday life of Russian women, the author considers the 10th-19th cc. “the ages of Orthodox Gender order” and the centuries of repressive sexuality, and the 20th c. – the time of sexual revolution, which had seriously increased the significance of this component in the biographies of the Russian women.
