ON SOME SORTS OF PROTECTION FROM BAD EYE

Summary/Abstract: In order to be protected from bad eye or “mësyshi”, Albanians have exersiced different ways, however protection by moving away the liable object from bad eye sight, than by means of marking or other objects put in the body, by means of dirtyness or words, were the most common ways exercised by our people. Even though cotemporary way of living has its impact, some of the above mentioned protections might be met here and there among us even in present times.
