Summary/Abstract: Lyudmil Stoyanov is an extremely erudite person. His po-etry, and especially the symbolist texts in his first book “Visions at the Crossroads”, are addressed to the intelligent reader who knows the work of T. Trayanov, Edgar Allan Poe, Lucretius, Valery Bryusov, Shakespeare, David, Alexander Blok, Heraclitus of Ephesus, K. Balmont, Vyacheslav Ivanov, from whose works he borrowed fragments for the motto of all his 14 parts in the book, as well as the specific references to images from the Bible and from world history and culture within the individual poetic works.
