The Slovenian School Museum in 2021

Summary/Abstract: In 2021, the museum’s activities were marked for the second year running by the covid-19 epidemic. Like most of the previous year, work throughout 2021 was adapted to the epidemic conditions. Because of the measures to prevent the spread of the virus, a large proportion of the activities, including the pedagogical-andragogical programme, was carried out in digital form online. Intensive work went into the setting up of the new permanent exhibition. A detailed expert report was created relating to the transfer of the activities of the Sports Museum, part of the Planica Institute of Sports, to the Slovenian School Museum. In addition to the annual publications, two exhibition leaflets, a booklet accompanying the new permanent exhibition School Rules and the didactic game A School Trip were published. In comparison to the previous year, the number of visitors increased slightly, but in comparison to the average of the last few years, it was well below average.
