Summary/Abstract: The migration process brings with it implications at the personal, social and identity level. The emigrants go through certain processes of assimilation and integration in the country of migration, which has an impact on a psycho-emotional and real level. Many Romanians, once they have arrived in the country of migration, try to take into account your safety. Thus, there are Romanians who join and integrate into the communities of Romanians next to the Romanian churches, which gives them a social and collective representation that generates a common representation of the members of a social group, based on a set of mental states and beliefs expressed through tradition, rites and institutions. In the Romanian communities next to the Romanian churches, the emigrants internalize a referential framework in which religious, cultural, traditional and educational elements are found based on the bond between that community and what defines them as Romanians. The priest is directly involved in the formation of these communities, being the one who comes to support and guide Romanian emigrants, on the one hand from a religious perspective, but on the other hand from a social, cultural perspective, of transmitting traditions, of education and identity preservation. The purpose of this article is to identify the need of Romanians abroad for social representation through Romanian communities where they find themselves as entities with common principles, values and traditions and where they can preserve their cultural and national identity. Like the semi-structuring research, I chose the structured interview applied to two priests who belong to Parishes in France and Italy, they highlight the importance of church involvement on several dimensions: religious, cultural, educational and identity.
