Summary/Abstract: Perfect language profi ciency in traditionalsociety was one of the assessments of a sociallysuccessful person. In the educational culture ofthe Belarusian people, signifi cant attention waspaid to language training and education of speechculture. At all stages of age-related socializationof the individual, great importance was attachedto actions aimed at ensuring successful masteryof language and speech means.
