Summary/Abstract: The article presents and analyzes new archaeological finds from the northern Black Sea region, in addition to the already-known materials. Punic amphorae, which appear in the Pontic region from the archaic (Berezan) through the classical (Elizavetovka) to the Hellenistic period (Olbia, Chersones), serve as evidence of contacts with the western Mediterranean. Special interest is given to the three unique stamps from the territory of the Bosporan Kingdom: cross in a circle (Nymphaion), simple circle (Nymphaion), and the symbol of the goddess Tanit (Vyshesteblitskaya–3 settlement). Analogies from the western Mediterranean allow these pieces to be dated to the first half of the 2nd century BC. It is suggested that Punic amphorae came indirectly as accompanying cargo on trade ships from the Aegean to the region. In addition to the amphorae, numerous finds of glass beads, including face beads that served as apotropaic amulets, are recorded. These could also have been transported in the amphorae.
