Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to provide both theoretical and empirical lighting in terms of the proximity effects on the process of technological and non-technological innovation in service companies. From the work of economic geography and neo-institutionalism we recall the theoretical basis of the effect of the proximity on innovation in Co localized firms. The results of a logistic regression performed on the basis of a survey of 102 ICT companies, Co located in Tunis, show that factors related to the firm location, social-economic, organizational and cognitive exert a favorable effect on technological and non-technological innovation. In addition, the findings from the empirical analysis confirm that the determinants of innovation differ depending on whether it is technological or non-technological.
