Summary/Abstract: Logistics is a key functional area in company management. It focuses on real processes in the company and is essential for increasing the efficiency and competitiveness of any organization. Constant changes in supply and demand policies, economic processes, technology and other factors affecting logistics processes in companies emphasize the need to develop flexible and efficient supply chains. As a result, there is a growing interest in logistics and in particular, its development as a concept for managing the real processes of supply chains. Every company is convinced of opening a specialized logistics center. These centers have different names: "Materials Management", "Logistics", "Supply Management", but in all cases their activity is related to the coordination and management of processes in the supply chain.
