Key questions include: How is the mechanism of hormoneaction understood? Do the guides link hormones with social specifications? Do theyoffer strategies for managing hormonal imbalances? Do these guides serve as a responseto the processes of implementing neoliberal technologies of governmentality – such ashealthism, technologies of individual responsibility, and technologies of the self – in bothprofessional and non-professional spheres of social life?
