Summary/Abstract: Recent events have negatively influenced the stability of the financial sector, the COVID 19 pandemic, followed by the war in Ukraine, materializing secondary effects and preexisting vulnerabilities, especially associated with sectors dependent on energy raw materials. Along with the double threats of the pandemic and an economic crisis, consumer protection is undermined in three aspects: by the ambiguous regulation of the credit contract concluded with the consumer; by the improper regulation of the assignment of the contract and debt and by the questionable attribution of the character of an enforceable title to the credit contract.
