Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the anti-victimization policy adopted in Poland and Italy to prevent secondary victimization by the media of the survivals of sexual offenses. The legislative and extra-legislative activities of the state in this regard, aimed at both media representatives and the survivors themselves, were analyzed, as well as activities of non-governmental organizations.
