Summary/Abstract: Biological evolution is an evolution of suffering. Assimilating new more and more disastrous ecological niches, living beings develop more and more complicated nervous system which is more and more capable of suffering. The end of biological evolution – and the beginning of history – comes when the nervous activity necessary for living in the ecological niche begins to collapse from the suffering caused by the niche. Then the only adaptive reaction remains escape from reality in regime of elemental hallucinating. Thus hallucinations come into the natural selection which standardise them – as it standardises everything – as virtual organs for surviving in unbearable conditions. They form ethno-linguistic fund of hallucinatios, reflecting the whole bio-social experience, integrating living beings in a collective organisms with a aggregate adaptive potential. Getting control of hallucinating develops culture and awareness. Setting up articles activity through the ages architecture forms code-symbolical perceptive foundation/memory of the collective integrity.
