Summary/Abstract: The article contains the analysis of the main approaches to foreign language teaching in higher educational institutions. The concept and components of the graduates’ professional competence (foreign language competence) are determined. A model of project teaching (production of the video with the use of advanced information technologies) aimed at language competence development is offered.
