Summary/Abstract: This paper is an attempt at explaining the nature and scope China’s Diplomatic and Economic relations with the African states and the so-called win-win cooperation. It also tries to shed light on some of Chinese engagements and business practices in African countries which are often seeing as shady. The paper also gives general overview of African perspectives on the Sino-African ties and discussions on positive and negative sides of the Chinese involvement in Africa.
