Summary/Abstract: The author brings out some more significant characteristics of the National Liberation Movement (NLM) in Slavonski Brod in the period 1941-1945. The major organizer and the leader of the National Liberation Struggle (NLS) against the occupier and its Quislihgs was the organization of Communist Party of Yugoslavia (CPY), with the abundant revolutionary tradition and a solid stronghold among the working class and the young people.
