Summary/Abstract: Some storytellers such as Rasim Özdenören, Sezai Karakoç, Mustafa Kutlu, who have been publishing story books since the 1960s, are writers who have migrated from provincial such as Maraş, Diyarbakır, Erzincan, Kilis, Niğde to big cities such as İstanbul and Ankara. These authors wrote literary texts in the context of their Islamic worldview. One of the important issues that appear in their literary production is the issue of migration. The tragic lives of the families who migrated from the countryside to the big cities in the urban life pushed the authors to this subject. However, especially families from conservative religious groups who migrated have been the subject of texts and the situations of these families in urban life have been frequently discussed. In this study, Rasim Özdenören, Sezai Karakoç, Mustafa Kutlu, Hüseyin Su, who has an Islamic-sensitive storytelling approach, presents themes about urban life by talking about families who migrated to big cities in the story books published in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, when the social mobility and migration issue in Turkey were intense. The texts of authors such as Mustafa Kutlu will be focused on. In the study, it will be examined how the image of the city is processed in the context of migrating families in the story texts of the authors.
