Summary/Abstract: The author proposes an analysis of the concept of ”ideological equalization” between West European countries at the end of the Second World War, which may be defined as limiting or even eliminating the inherent differences in approaching the political organization of society on a homogenous democratic basis, faced with the aggressive assertion of an ideological formula identified as a common enemy: communism.
