"Scientific Bulletin, A Series, Philology Fascicle" was formerly published by North University of Baia Mare Publishing House and now it is published by U.T. Press Publishing House.
The Scientific Report belonging to The Faculty of Letters from The North University of Baia Mare appeared foe the first time in 1969 with an annual frequency of apparition under the name of Buletin Ştiinţific, seria A, Filologie. Pedagogie. Ştiinţe sociale/ Scientific report, A series, Philology. Pedagogy. Social sciences. It appears in this form until 1972 in the following order: in 1969 vol.I, in 1970 vol. II, in 1971 vol.III, in 1972 vol. IV without ISSN . The next three volumes appear after a period of eight year interruption: in 1980 vol. V, in 1983 vol.VI, in 1896 vol.VII. Starting with 1992 the magazine belonging to the Romanian language and literature department appears distinctively under the name of Buletin Ştiinţific, seria A, fascicula Filologie/ Scientific report, A series, Philology Fascicle. In 1992 vol. VIII and in 1994 vol. IX would receive ISSN 1222-6491. In 1996 vol. X appears, in 1997 vol. XI, in 1999 vol. XII. From 1992, the materials were divided into three sections: 1. Romanian language and modern languages 2. Romanian literature and foreign literatures 3. Romanian popular culture and civilization In 1996, vol. X gets a new ISSN 1224-3191 having the following stucture: 1. Language 2. Literature 3. Folklore 4. Critical accounts From 2001, along with vol. XIII, the new ISSN will be 1583-1264 and the magazine would appear with a two year frequency up to 2007 like this: in 2003 vol. XIV, in 2005 vol. XV, in 2007 vol. XVI. From 2007, The Scientific report, A series, Philology Fascicle appears once a year: in 2008 vol. XVII, in 2009 vol. XVIII being edited by the Romanian language and literature department from The Faculty of Letters from The North University of Baia Mare by means of the publishing house belonging to U.T. Press Publishing House. From 2006 , 2007, 2008, The Scientific report, A series, Philology Fascicle is situated under code 622 CNCSIS alongside with C category magazines.
