Summary/Abstract: The present paper is dedicated to some features of the translation of the Old Church Slavonic Menaion Sticherarion. The texts in the 12th century copies of the Sticherarion exhibit few differences. There is no doubt that the Sticherarion belongs to those compilations that appeared after the reform connected with the imposition of the Typikon of patriarch Alexios Studites, because the differences in the texts contained in the Sticherarion and in the Novgorod Service Menaia are insignificant. The only exceptions are the four stichera contained in GIM, Sin. 572 that represent the legacy of the Old Bulgarian Menaion tradition. This also confirms the hypothesis of an independent compilation of each book on the basis of the available texts of the Menaion.
