Summary/Abstract: The Erotapokriseis of Pseudo-Kaisarios is a well-known Slavonic translation made in Bulgaria in the 10th century. It is only preserved in Russian manuscripts from the 15th century onwards. The first 36 questions and answers are lost in all copies. In the Russian Nomocanon (Kormchaja kniga) we find an unknown fragment of this Old Bulgarian translation of the Erotapokriseis of Ps.-Kaisarios. The fragment contains the 2nd and 3rd question and answer of the Erotapokriseis. It appears in the Nomocanon no later than in the mid-14th century, so at that time the whole text of Erotapokriseis must have been known in Russia.
