Summary: The State and Church Jewish Policies • Extirpation Attempts • Security Censorship • Conversion • Self-Administration and Internal Policy Attitude to the Aliyah of Judah Hasid and Mission of Nethanel ben Solomon. This study also deals with the attitude of individual authorities towards the "Jewish question", their attempts to expel the Jews from Prague and reduce the size of the ghetto, exploitation of the Jews through taxes, their imperilment by violent criminal acts, censorship and pressure exerted by missionaries and the situation in the Jewish self-administration.
